Olmsted 20/24 DFL is an organizing unit of the Minnesota Democratic-Farmer-Labor party representing the Olmsted county portions of Senate Districts 20 and 24.
This month, our DFL food drive will benefit the Pamoja Women’s food pantry. Their shelves are completely empty, and many of the families they serve are currently too afraid to shop for essentials due to the climate created by recent rhetoric. Pamoja women support east African women and their families by helping them overcome barriers, access resources, and thrive. Your donations will make an immediate difference. We will collect food at our office and deliver to Pajoma Women, where it will be distributed to families in need.
Drop off shelf stable items at the DFL offices - 1500 1st Ave NE, Suite A throughout the month of December. Our office is open 1pm - 4pm M-F. Additionally, we will have a donation box in the vestibule, which is accessible from 8am-5pm M-F (come through the main door of the 1500 building and take the first left).
Please help us show up for our Somali neighbors in this time of need and let them know we stand with them. Unequivocally.
